BODYBUILDING & COMPETITION PREP COACHING

One-on-one nutrition and training coaching for every phase of physique development, from the off-season through to competition and beyond.

Successful bodybuilding requires your nutrition, training, recovery, health, and competitive timeline to work together as your physique develops.

Our coaching provides ongoing guidance across each phase of that process, with your approach shaped around your progress, experience, category, timeline, health, and long-term goals.

Whether you are building in the off-season, considering your first competition, or preparing for another season, your coaching develops with you as your needs change.

WHO THIS IS FOR

This may be the right fit if:

  • You train consistently and take bodybuilding seriously, but are not confident your current nutrition and training are producing the progress they should.

  • You want an off-season that supports muscle growth and physique development while managing your rate of gain and overall health.

  • You are considering your first competition and want clear guidance around your readiness, timeline, category, and what the preparation process will involve.

  • You are preparing for a show and want to reach the level of conditioning your category demands while looking after your health, performance, and recovery throughout the process.

  • You have competed before and want a more individual approach to improving your physique and planning your next season.

  • You have absorbed a lot of bodybuilding information but still find yourself second-guessing when to change food intake, training, cardio, bodyweight targets, or the timing of your next phase, and you want to understand the reasoning behind those decisions.

CLIENT RESULTS

We work with bodybuilders across all experience levels, from first-time competitors to experienced athletes, through off-season development, contest preparation, and the transition beyond the stage.

HOW WE APPROACH BODYBUILDING COACHING

Your nutrition, training, bodyweight, recovery, digestion, health, and competitive timeline all influence the way your physique develops.

Your coach considers these factors together and adjusts the variables that are most relevant to your progress at the time. This may include food intake, training volume, exercise selection, cardio, recovery demands, posing, or the timing of a competitive phase.

Our dietitians have all competed in bodybuilding at a high level and have coached competitors across a wide range of categories and experience levels. This gives our team direct experience with the demands of off-season development, contest preparation, peak week, show day, and the transition after competing.

That practical experience sits alongside our professional training as dietitians, allowing us to apply evidence and clinical judgement within the real context of bodybuilding.

COACHING ACROSS THE BODYBUILDING TIMELINE

OFF-SEASON DEVELOPMENT

Your nutrition and training are structured around building muscle, improving performance, managing your rate of gain, and developing the areas of your physique that need the most attention.

Progress is reviewed regularly so food intake, training, recovery, and bodyweight can continue to reflect your needs as you develop.

COMPETITION PREPARATION

Your nutrition, training, cardio, recovery, posing, and competitive timeline are managed as your physique changes throughout preparation.

Your approach is guided by your condition, performance, rate of progress, health, and response to each adjustment, with the aim of reaching the level of conditioning required for your category while supporting muscle retention and performance.

PEAK WEEK, SHOW DAY & POST-COMPETITION

The final stages of preparation are guided by how your physique is responding at the time.

You receive full support with peak week planning, posing, and show-day decisions, followed by continued coaching through the transition after competing.

The post-competition phase focuses on restoring a sustainable routine, supporting physical and psychological recovery, and establishing the next phase of progress.

PRICING

Bodybuilding coaching begins with a minimum eight-week commitment. This gives your coach time to understand how you respond, make informed adjustments, and establish momentum.

Bodybuilding coaching starts from $125 AUD per week (~$85 USD).

Coaching includes personalised nutrition and training, weekly check-ins, support between check-ins, and bodybuilding-specific guidance relevant to your current phase. We work with athletes worldwide.

WHAT BODYBUILDING COACHING LOOKS LIKE

YOUR INITIAL CONSULTATION & WEEKLY CHECK-INS

You begin with a comprehensive video consultation covering your bodybuilding history, current physique, nutrition, training, health, lifestyle, previous competition experience, and long-term goals.

From there, weekly check-ins allow you and your coach to review the variables that matter most for your current phase. This may include bodyweight, physique changes, training performance, recovery, digestion, hunger, adherence, posing, and any practical challenges that have come up during the week.

Adjustments are made as your progress and circumstances change.

YOUR NUTRITION & TRAINING

Your nutrition is built around your current phase, preferences, lifestyle, training demands, and health. The approach may involve macro targets, meal planning, nutrient timing, a more flexible structure, or a combination of methods depending on what suits you.

Your training program is built around your goals, experience, physique priorities, schedule, available equipment, and current phase. Volume, exercise selection, frequency, progression, and recovery are reviewed as you develop.

As dietitians and bodybuilding coaches, we explain the reasoning behind decisions so you understand how each part of the process contributes to your progress.

COMPETITION SUPPORT

As competition approaches, coaching also covers the practical decisions required through the final stages of preparation, peak week, show day, and the period following the competition.

SUPPORT BETWEEN CHECK-INS

You can contact your coach throughout the week for questions, clarification, and guidance. This gives you support when issues or important decisions arise throughout the coaching process.
